excellent to me ... nice colors ... perfect use of Velvia ... why so many grains ... pls don't take otherwise ... I have not used any slide film yet ... is it for the 200 ISO ...

Hello, this is a really lovely shot. It's so evocative of the summer and of being away from home. If I was going to make any change, I'd give just a little more space to the right, the edge of the deck chair seems a little cramped.

-Biplab,i have sarpened the image in a photo editing to stand up more,on my monitor look,s fine - Peter ,there was a balcony wall all around and no room - Iva ,the mountain it,s a strong element for me "i will post the same photo with more sea" - Ersagun , Santorini it,s a must you should visit the island May or September - Sarah ,you cannot imagine how many memories brings to me this Island . Mr Raddatz ,thank you for your comment - tomorrow i might go back from England to Greece "Santorini" to move the chair as you suggest , before that be kind enough to read my answer to Peters Meade comment.....as a second thought i don,t think i will go back to Greece now to reshoot the photo (later may be) at the moment i really like this image as it is !!...thank,s for visiting my page .

OK ! Michael ,no harm done...but you should visit Santorini (check my other photos of Santorini -or photos of the island from other members ) this Island it,s a must for photographers.

Yes many years ago was in Santorini 1989 I think it was..the shot is fantastic as the contrasting posture of the chair and flower Vase with the view gives a unique taste to this shot the gigantic vase sort of anchors the whole composition or gives it more solidity.
