I think this is a very good image...far above "average". The positioning of the two faces is excellent...nice shadowing and DOF keeping the background there. Although the headdress on the forward dancer is cut off, I can see the shape of it with the other's.

 

Actually, the more I look at this, the more I can appreciate how fine it is...even the crop on the main subject's shoulders. Great work!

Love the composition, detail, and colors on this one, Alec. I would echo Linda's sentiments. The background lady is blurred just the right amount to give balance to the composition and not detract from the detail of the foreground. Nicely done!

I think it would have even greater appeal if you had included the ornamental 'crown'.
