Guest Guest Posted March 3, 2006 Would like to read more about this kid; he seems to be in a trance. Why? Or is the expression just a fortunate moment? You have nice exposure and details overall. The image on the left makes me wonder what it is and if it could be a better background. Link to comment
alones 2 Posted March 3, 2006 Nice capture . you made me want to see the full drawing that is partly seen on the left . was it taken near a water well ? Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 3, 2006 It was taken in one of the villages, I did not see many laughing children, life is too tough, his face expression is what I saw in many children faces. The painting on the wall did not have a special interest for me, I have preferred a hint of the outside which is seen behind, and the light. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 3, 2006 The feeling you have captured here seems to be one of enduring a tough life in a harsh land. I find it moving. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted March 3, 2006 Very good image,Pnina. I like the suggestion of painting, lighted mud wall and the expression on the boy's face. He seems to be wondering what is in store for him.An image of grim reality. Link to comment

marco_ruggiero 0 Posted March 4, 2006 An incredible capture of expression of sadness and despair, which is so part of these children lives and yet so sad to see it existing. As always great representation Pnina.Breat image and thanks for bringing them and sharing with us. Link to comment
peta 0 Posted March 4, 2006 He's really lost in his thoughts Pnina, and a handy spot to sit to do so. Another wonderful slice of life here. Link to comment

dguindon 0 Posted March 4, 2006 How the past can reflect the present. I sure like the contrast between the mural and the boy. Looks like the only contribution the west has is a bigger basin! Link to comment
