This isn't meant to be too serious but the message is! Personally I don't think it is artistic as 'Dead Drunk' but I have a funny feeling this will get more ratings.

Feedback appreciated.

Should there be anyone looking for my more daring work, you can always do a search for me on photopoints or photosig where I have uploaded some new images along with some of my deleted images. I am sure to be uploading more soon.

Dude... how are you going to explain this one to the cops?!

But seriously, a great photo, great humor, exposed well.

I would be curious to see what this would look like if you shot from the other side, so her face is in the foreground, and her body is what trails outward in the photo.

I never abuse alcohol. I always make sure that it has a nice cool home in the refrigerator.

In reference to the above comment, that photo must have been very arduous to set up. I would hope that you saved a CF card of different angles and lighting.

David - Great image, and it needs saying. Alcoholism and alcohol abuse are not laughing matters. Thanks. - John

Per usual your work is always "top shelf" 7/7. BTW, thanks for the heads up for another location for your terrific work.

I agree with you that the artistic merit of the other image may be higher but this puts a great finishing touch on the idea. You have got another great series going if you care to keep it going.

This is a truly fine photo. Or am I thinking that you had a truly fine time preparing the props. That nust have been a lot of work emptying all of those cans and bottles. I am very jealou... er, I mean disgusted with the whole concept!

Party party party. Absoloutly an ace image, I like the idea and would have volounteered to assist in the pulling of the can rings, and of course for quality control purposes assisted in testing the contents :)

Brillant, David, as always. I prefer the "Dead Drunk" image. Although this is a great idea and technically well done, the woman just doesn't seem to fit in for me; maybe it's based upon racial or gender stereotypes in my own head, but she doesn't seem to fit the subject matter in the same way that an overweight older guy would. That said, it's still interesting and provacative.

Its good, but I prefered the previous no model B/W version. IMHO the light there gave life and "caracter" to the objects, here it seems to take it. Maybe even on purpose, but still..

I just uploaded this before going to bed last night. I had a feeling it would attract a few comments but maybe not so many.

Etan, Thanks for the comment. I can assure you no dead bodies or police were involved in the taking of this picture! As for your request for a view from the other side... I may upload that later.

Keith, You make me smile! You shouldn't keep Whisky in the fridge.

J. W. I hear you. Unfortunately I don't think this image will be seen by those it affects the most and even it was, I don't think they would get it. It might be understood by others around them. Thanks for the comment.

Michael, Thanks for stopping by. I do prefer the user interface on this site but I do feel it is a pity I can't show all of my images here. It was never my attention to offend or upset anyone!

Joey, Thanks a lot! I do try!

Owen, It wasn't 100% my intention to take this photograph. I really do have a problem visualising shapes and so I asked the girl to lie on the floor while I surrounded her with cans so that I could get the shape right. (Why was she naked I hear you ask?) Well! I realised that IF I was going to take it, I might as well take a shot that had more appeal. The difficulty for her was to get up without disturbing the cans.

I have been taking more beer photos and I am sure to be uploading one or two soon.

To answer your second point. The beer featured in this image is 'Tiger' which comes from Singapore. I do like it. The Whiskies are 10 Year old Laphroaig (I like,) 18 year old Glenfiddich (I don't think many Scots drink that... I don't) and a bottle of Jamesons. (I occasionally drink that.)

Andre, You made me smile. You are correct though! It took quite a while to prepare.... thankfully.

Rob, If I ever meet you, I will let you buy the beer and we can set up a similar shot... or we can just drink the beer.

Gary, Yes! I hope my liver survives too!

Bill, Your comment is very interesting. I did think of using myself as the body. As you point out, that may have been more fitting to the image. That said, the photograph is not meant to be too literal. With many of my images, the idea is to get people to think whether I am serious or not. That said, as Gary below you (and above) points out, I did want this to be aesthetic and fun. Using myself would not have been either.

Edwin, I am offended.... I was born in Glasgow!

Mario, I hear you and I agree! Thanks a lot.

Thanks you very much everyone!

Thanks for the comment Alex. The next time we are in Hong Kong together I will show you how much beer I can drink... if you buy that is... I am Scottish after all! Shall we say The Whiskey Priest?

I want to write this idea to just put it out there (I believe words have a lot of power):

I'll fly to Hong Kong, find David and party like hell before I turn 42. Repeat: I'll fly to Hong Kong, find David and party like hell before I turn 42.

Well thats out there.

Stepen, You really must look at more photographs. Seriously! Thanks for the comment.

Angel, I look forward to it! I look forward to it!

Edwin, What makes you think that? You can drink beer on days other than Saturday you know!

Asian girls must be tough, how the hell she could drink all that and still align all those cans around her so well?? Or maybe you've helped her with emptying the cans, but still you deserve a high note on composing nicely the shot under such conditions.
