mother and son..

Hmmm... I like the composition and the tones are interesting... Partly they are brilliant, on some parts though, they get overrun because of the sun flare. There is some sadness - to my eye - on the little boys way of "trying to catch" his mother. Her pose seems angry or frustrated... :-)So, this photo really brings my imagination into running - what has happened before this was shot? :-)

Beautiful work... it's the absence of her shadow which is most intriguing in this picture... her stance is stiff, introspective, the child's gait is unenthusiastic... a poignance exudes... a lovely and engaging picture.

The first comment is right about the disturbing qualities that cause the imagination to run wild. It is difficult to place the emotion on it. The mother does not cast a shadow so it is as though she were a ghost. Yet she does not exhibit any such pose or characteristic, just walking away. There is a sadness yet insufficient information to decide what is happening. Very good.
