pedro_goodwin 0 Posted March 1, 2006 Hello Dieter from California. I really like this shot. Just a suggestion...Have you considered using a fill flash with your telephoto lens? Channeling the light from your telephoto might help make your images even more outstanding! Keep creating great images! Pedro G Link to comment
david_lieberman 0 Posted March 1, 2006 I think there's room to expand the contrast without overdoing it. I like the photo, but I sense that I'd like to see the goose "whiter". Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted March 2, 2006 Ah! This is a concord landing. Beautiful capture of the goose with wings(flaps) down. Link to comment

jeffsutton 0 Posted March 4, 2006 I like this shot very much, it portrays the miracle of flight. Quibbles are as others have said a touch more tweaking on the white point and a little more room to the right side, but I would definitely hang this one in my office. Link to comment

d_lynn 0 Posted May 15, 2006 I disagree with the idea of using a fill flash or even playing with the contrast to obtain a whiter goose. Well, okay, a bit might not hurt but too much wouldn't be a good thing, and here's why: The existing light conveys time of day and a sense of mood. Shooting in a studio setting you get studio results, but this should not be the appearance of wildlife photography, IMHO. Of course, you can take my comments with a grain of salt. I have a modest background in art but comparatively little photography experience. Link to comment
