tinaforgetphotography 0 Posted June 1, 2006 Beautiful image, Robert. Nicely composed, great tones, and good symmetry (of triangle to triangle). I especially like the sun play on the ridges of the mud. My favorite of the three. Very striking image, indeed. Regards, Tina Link to comment
megan_woodward 0 Posted June 12, 2006 Again, like the other one... I could stare at this for hours. But it is somehow more uplifting.... as if the transition from smooth texture to rippled indicates a welcome change or pleasant turn of events... adding excitement to daily routine. One of my favorites. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Oh this is a very cool abstract in black and white.I am not sure of what the requirements for the Spider Awards are, but I immmediately thought that anything in this series would qualify. Spider AwardsThere are a few blown highlights on this, but I like the contrast. The diagonal of the ripples in the frame is very dynamic. Link to comment
wood 1 Posted August 28, 2006 Thanks for the comment. I have been considering submitting a few from this series to the Spider Awards, but as they have closed admissions for this year, I may try for next year. Thanks again, Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Great. I wish you all the best of luck in your submissions for next year. I must find the time to get back and see the rest of the series. Feel free to remind me, if I am not back in a reasonable length of time. My Sept and Oct are going to be pretty busy, though. Link to comment
