markonestudios 4 Posted February 27, 2006 This was taken using available light outdoors. What do you think of it? Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted February 27, 2006 PS (no pun intended!) I desaturated it in Photoshop... Link to comment
marcobrivio 0 Posted February 27, 2006 It's great how you elaborated the model's skin to get this beautiful "velvet effect". Splendid indeed. Regards, Marco Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 27, 2006 Very nice gesture of the model in the frame Mark A. Good shallow DOF. nice soft light that illuminates her well. Pnina Link to comment

v 0 Posted March 1, 2006 She looks a little uncertain, but i like the way you worked with lighting and colours. Its a bit strange though to have a light triangle on the top left, but I guess you had no choice, perhaps. Overall quite nice :) Link to comment
markonestudios 4 Posted March 1, 2006 Hey ViP. Thanks for your comment. This was her first shoot, and indeed one of the first photots on the shoot, so she was actually a tad undcertain. As for the 'light triangle,' it was actually the shadow of a building. This was shot outdoors against a light-coloured wall. I had no control over the shadow unfortunately :)Mark Link to comment
stanton imaging 0 Posted March 1, 2006 very well taken i love the split in the background.........top work Link to comment
cappoldt 0 Posted March 3, 2006 Wow Mark! I love the way the light's demarcation line leads the eye right to the photo's point of focus, her face. You're on your way! The Photoshop "velvet" treatment is good - I have no idea how to do that, and think you did it with just enough subtlety. What is your workflow for this? Snow and ice here in New York! colin carron 58,916 Posted March 7, 2006 Beautiful colours and pose. I like the look which to me is enquiring rather than uncertain and works well. The lighting is good and the diagonal shadow works well. Link to comment
