Bob, At first I though that was someone heading out into the surf with a walker (perhaps never to return)! If not for your title......

I like the panoramic view for this shot. I also think placing the main figure bottom left with the other subjects so near the top of the frame works very well. The tone (color) and tonal range give this an interesting mood. All those people out there on what appears to be a cool wet day is a surprise.

I'm glad you weren't inclined to include the entire reflection of the main figure. Some might disagree.

So, what are Razor Clams? Are they tasty?

Razor clams are super tasty--certainly one of the best things to be pulled from the ocean. They are much tastier than any other clam. This day it was about 40 degrees and the wind was gusting up to 30 mph. The best clamming is out in the surf and the clams tend to be 1-2' down in the sand. It's a wet, cold pursuit. If you're ever back in the NW, you'll have to give some a try.

Brrr. on top of cold water temperatures, that's a lot of work for a meal. Regardless, I'll certainly give it a try should I visit the NW again-hopefully during more forgiving weather conditions
