ada-ipenburg 0 Posted March 1, 2006 Wow, what a great shot Ellen! Real impressive and very original point of view. I think you were lucky to find the terrace so empty. I love the colours and all those beautiful round tables and graceful chairs. The colours are wonderful, very quiet almost earthy colours. I wouldn't crop the shot. In the contrary I would suggest the make a second terrace right there at the place where the cars are parked. I have done a very quick and sloppy attempt only to show you what I have in my mind. I hope you don't mind and I have full understand if you don't like it because I think that you probably prefer to let the picture in its original version. Warm greetings, Ada~:~) Link to comment
Jebamony 3 Posted March 1, 2006 Ada, although the idea was very good, unless you compensate for the distance [and altitude] where the cars were, the tables and chairs won't look right. That is my two cents worth. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted March 1, 2006 As I already mentioned Julius, it was only a sloppy attempt to show Ellen what I mean as an alternative for the crop suggested by others. The whole action took me two seconds, so what else could one expect.... But thank you for given your honest opinion. And Ellen, I like your original version the best. The cars really aren't distracting. Together with the guests at the terrace, the cars at least accentuates the presence of any liveliness here. My suggestion was only meant in case the cars would nevertheless bothering you. I had certainly not the intention to try to surpass your picture because it is great as it is. I hope my poor English wouldn't be the cause of misunderstandings. I think I going to give ALL of my comments in Dutch in the future, Haha:0))) Many Greetings, Ada:~) Link to comment
