Breathtaking scenery, perfect camera point and perspective with the contrasty part on the left side, against the softer tones of the distant view. What I like very much is how the blue color palette resumes on land. My only wish is a mild resharpening after resize for upload, I am quite sure there is more detail in the original.

This is fantastic - from the thumbnail, I thought this Bolivia or some such - I certainly didn't expect it to be the site of a very happy Geography feild trip I was on in 1988!

Carston, I did apply USM, but I'm still getting to grips with scanning slides and too much sharpening looks vile. I've done some selective sharpening, but have kept it to the minimum. Many of these old scans, look breathtaking as slides.
