Downstairs

Brilliant shot. The powers that be have decreed that he shall walk, he MUST walk, and his path is laid out for him all the way (nice line out from the kerb). But he's thinking about it, wondering why he's following the path, a bit unhappy with his lot (this was taken in 1984, right?).

I love the composition. But, I admit I have a rather extreme prejudice against panoramic format, especially vertical. BUT, I think this would look great as part of a series of vertical panoramas (5 is the minimum number that comes to mind to overcome my panoramic aversion). Obviously, this is a personal opinion that can be safely ignored.
