Buchaille Etive Mor

A great location, unfortunately a rather hurried photo. I didn't have a great deal of time to consider composition much and the camera was hand held. When I have a bit more time and I think I will go back and try again, so comments and suggestions for next time welcome.

Wonderful image considering you feel you rushed it. When you do go back, consider looking within the photo. Get closer, crop closer, get in tight on things and you'll see more wonderful abstract shapes come into view. It's a delightful landscape as is but it can become much more if you break up this whole into bits and pieces. I did a quick sample of various images within this one. If you have a telephoto lens, that should help you greatly. Great shot. I loof forward to more.

I agree with Paul...and I would also suggest moving back to get a little more space at the edge of the mountain and include more foreground. Also, if the sky is as nice as this maybe a couple of vertical compositions.

What a great place! I love the isolation of that peak and the surrounding landscape is also quite intersting. You did a great job of capturing it here. Although you hurried, the colors anr jsut right. When you go back, try using a slow shutter speed to let the water rush. You can get really low to the ground and let the little fall dominate the shot with the mountain in the back. You could try focusing on that intersting looking tree, maybe in a vertical composition. A panorama that shows a pit more could be fun. Try using your zoom from further away to compress the fall and the mountain together and fill the frame with mountain. There are a lot of possibilities here ... have fun!
