principalphotography 0 Posted February 24, 2006 I know it's a necessary evil to have your copyright on there, but, I honestly think that's all that distracts from what would be an excellent photo. I think because it's curved, my eyes are drawn from the subject (the flower) to your name. It's kind of sad because the colors, the composition, and the subject are extraordinary. Link to comment
dchatter 0 Posted February 24, 2006 As usual beautiful details and lovely colors. The background provides a wonderful contrast against this flower. Personally I'ld rather not look at that copyright notice, and keep a little more space above. If I close my eyes and picture a bit more space, I think I like it more :) Best regards. Link to comment
javedrassi 3 Posted February 24, 2006 Debasish and John, I have removed the copywrite from the flower petal and put it on the right lowerside. Thanks both for your comments. Link to comment
mmmee 0 Posted March 30, 2006 the light on this flower is gorgeous. Looks good on a black background. I wish the petal was not cut off on the right, but not a big distraction. Link to comment
garyprzy 0 Posted June 4, 2006 Javed- When shooting I often debate whether I should tightly crop the image or not, especially when shooting 3:2 format. For me this image is nearly perfect: a tight crop w/ light falloff at the left-right, flower tilted enough to fill the frame and a depth of field that highlights the stamen but is limited enough to give a slight blur on the edges.
