perole 0 Posted February 23, 2006 Depth and the overall colour and light is good as usual. But this time I think there is too much contrast. The singer's arm and the guitar player's hair is over-exposed. I like the way he looks, but the mike and hands cover a bit too much of his face. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 24, 2006 Altough I think what Per wrote is correct (and you agree too) I also think that that also makes the shot more real, the concert lights are obviously very strong and will not always keep up with the bands moves, also the mic over the face I would say is very typical of many metal singers when they go for the "deep rough sound" (lacking a more accurate an technical expression). Overall I like it, I think it depicts a metal concert mood very well( as did some of your previoius posts). Link to comment
mark_tso 0 Posted February 24, 2006 Thank you for such a detailed comment. It seems to me like I'm agree with you too - actualy knowing the specificy of metal concert makes me more comforable in accepting lighting troubles - it is just almost impossible to get a correct light with correct scene to shoot. (the way metal singers sing called 'grouling' ) thank you once again! Link to comment
Ray House 4,349 Posted February 24, 2006 I agree with Mario... also nice composition and timing. I think the lighting and subjects as done make a statement..."ROCK & ROLL! Link to comment
