I like the contrast between the warm color of the shore and the cooler color of the sea/sky. Gives good depth. Good depth of field. I believe it would be more pleasing with the man off center 1/3rd of frame from the right. However, I don't know what was left of the frame, so this may be a compromise.

Yup, contrast is just great! nit-picking, if only skies would standout a bit more ... overall, great photo!

It may have improved this pic if the man had been more out of center, i agree with you there. I will try to do so with a bit cropping.You have also right aboat the sky. Thanks for good advices.

I think this photo is a bit strange, because it looks like the man are sitting on a beach in a way - but the fact is that he is sitting absolutely on the edge of a cliff and there is at least 100 meters down to the sea level.
