alberto.conde 0 Posted February 23, 2006 It's been quite a long time since I posted a castle shot... Here you have an emblematic castle in the Valley of the Vinalopó river in Alicante. It's considered one of the finest rocky castles in Spain. Islamic origin, of course, although rebuilt in 14 and 15th. C. Link to comment
Link to comment
Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted February 23, 2006 Superb skyscape for this motif, the sweeping clouds fit well to the castle`s hill. Well composed, great detail, no nitpicks from me. Link to comment
julio_segura_carmona1 4 Posted February 23, 2006 Excelente encuadre, luz, y color , un cordial saludo Alberto. Link to comment
Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted February 23, 2006 Not just an exciting sky ... I really love how the rock blends into the castel. I also like the walls along the road (?) leading up to the castle from the left. Wonderful, Alberto! Make sure to continue giving us castle shots!!! Warm regards! Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted February 24, 2006 I find the light not very good, and the composition not extraordinary, with too much sky above the hill and castle. You often let a large space for sky in your photos, and generally it works very well, but here the sky is not so interesting than in numerous of your other photos. Dont' you think it will work better if you crop out a third on the right and at least the half of the sky above the castle ? Link to comment
nino1 0 Posted February 24, 2006 I am not "exhalted" by this shot; as the other folk said, light is flat and I don't like very much the magenta toning of the sky. Alberto, be careful because is clearly visible the edge between sky and earth left by the mask used in photoshop for working the clouds. Link to comment
carmenlafuente 0 Posted February 24, 2006 Como bien dice Belen, otra con tus cielos espectaculares. Link to comment
Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted February 27, 2006 I think this representation is magnificent. I ike the colors and the composition. As you indicated one cannot make deals with the weatherman, the results, to me are excellent. Link to comment
Link to comment
Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted March 7, 2006 Alberto, a fine sense of space around the castle and the clouds are good. Link to comment
