Lines ...

I like the lines in this, not perfect otherwise, I'd appreciate feedback!

It is an interesting picture, the tones are rich and the sky is well defined. However when a look at the picture my eyes do not stop at one point, they go around and around without stopping... I think that is due to the "fuge" of lines, right on the water-shore, then left at the dunes, then the back horizon and the cloud line right again... I do not how to explain that feeling. Anyway the picture is nice and I like it.

I'm seeing what you're seeing here, Lucas. It's pretty amazing, the huge zigzag and the wonderful complementary shapes of sea, land, cloud, and sky. This is a difficult one to critique; I need to think about it more. What you've seen here is indeed nicely seen -- it's downright cool -- but somehow the image as a whole doesn't quite hang together. Maybe Marcal is right: The problem is that it lacks a focus of interest, and the presence of a human figure or a piece of architecture or some animals about a third of the way in from right would unify the composition. The basic structure you've got here is very, very interesting, though.
