em_ku 0 Posted February 22, 2006 this is a very nice, sharp image, but I'm not sure what the focus is. The clouds are beautiful and dramatic, but a lot of the attention is given to the largely empty foreground. This may be an intentional effect, but I also feel like I'm about to fall over and roll down the hill! :) Looks like it was a great day to be out, though. Thanks for sharing! Link to comment
Link to comment
eric_dupin 0 Posted February 24, 2006 I understand these critiques. The problem was that I walked in snowshoes with a group and could not go exactly where I would like to compose my picture... Good photography is individualist ! Link to comment
em_ku 0 Posted February 24, 2006 I share your angst, Eric! I'm often in situations where I'm tied to a group and restricted as a photographer as well. But there are trips to be with friends, and trips to be alone with nature and our cameras. Each has its merits and frustrations. Bon weekend! Link to comment
