There were two of these "scarecrows" propped up in 2nd floor windows (to clarify ... in the US, we say "2nd floor" meaning the floor above the floor that is street level ... I discovered this summer that in other countries, that is not the case....) Anyway - I thought it was cool that they had scarecrows above the CREPERIE! :-) What better place to guard from predators! (The very best crepe I had in France was at this particular creperie ... fudge and whipped toppings .... mmmmmmmmmmmm........)

And, just to be a little bit ViP-ish, here's another picture, of the creperie sign, in case you're looking for this place the next time you're in Villereal....

What a nice picture Lou Ann. I like your crop. Next to the 'scarcrow' which is real adorable I love the beautiful details of architecture of the building. And after I have seen the picture of you and your crepe Lou Ann, I have full understand for the fact the creperie has placed scarcrows. Wowow, looks really delicious!

Warm greetings, Ada:~)

So odd to see a scarecrow in such a position...goes to show he is still looking for a brain....

Fun shot, Lou Ann! You have caught a nice Gallic feel to the archtiecture, I like the colours and the scarecrow guy adds quirkiness. The 'floor' thing is just to confuse unwary travellers!
