pnital 36 Posted February 20, 2006 Unique for Mali. was recognized as " world Heritage". After each rainy season, correction are made as the mud sufferes Damage. Please roll down to see the full construction. Thanks, Pnina Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted February 20, 2006 Great shapes and composition here. Mud buildings all have that rounded appearance (there are some surprisingly old mud buildings in England despite the rain). Your shot captures some nice firm clean lines though - ingenious! Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Wow - that's a fabulous detailed image of the building. Thank you for including a shot of the whole building for comparison sake. I always find it amazing that so many cultures have used dirt/mud for building construction ... even those that do so for lack of other building materials. Very interesting.... Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted February 21, 2006 Pnina, A most interesting angle....I thought this was where this structure was. A real unique piece of architecture....I don't recall where or how long ago I saw a photo of this place, but it's very original....Very well done....Jim Link to comment
