Guest Guest Posted February 21, 2006 Aaron, This is really terrific. I love the thin lines of cracked earth and the way you've formed the composition around the small plants. You should be very pleased with this! Link to comment
sef1664877429 0 Posted February 21, 2006 Flipp'n superb, one of your best... positioning of the cracks, tones... the atmosphere is simultaneously parched, windswept, frozen and Clint Eastwood in GBU, dying in the desert heat. Very nice... barren wastelands are such fun, in a post-apocalyptic kinda way. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted February 22, 2006 Aaron, after Stephen's erudite summary, there ain't much left to say. This is a real winner, so simple and so effective. Link to comment
bengt1664878721 2 Posted February 23, 2006 Beautiful. Great texture and patterns. (Harsh conditions, indeed, but life comes crawling out of the cracks, just the same:) Link to comment
lucyhollis 2 Posted February 25, 2006 Strong image. The slightly tilted plane adds interest. I like the subtle changes in shadows and highlights within the plain rock face. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted March 4, 2006 Aaron, this terrific--almost like an engraving. Great tonal range and sharpness. I wish I had something to criticize!!!! Link to comment
