Aaron, This is really terrific. I love the thin lines of cracked earth and the way you've formed the composition around the small plants. You should be very pleased with this!

Flipp'n superb, one of your best... positioning of the cracks, tones... the atmosphere is simultaneously parched, windswept, frozen and Clint Eastwood in GBU, dying in the desert heat. Very nice... barren wastelands are such fun, in a post-apocalyptic kinda way.

Aaron, after Stephen's erudite summary, there ain't much left to say. This is a real winner, so simple and so effective.

Beautiful. Great texture and patterns. (Harsh conditions, indeed, but life comes crawling out of the cracks, just the same:)

Strong image. The slightly tilted plane adds interest. I like the subtle changes in shadows and highlights within the plain rock face.

Aaron, this terrific--almost like an engraving. Great tonal range and sharpness. I wish I had something to criticize!!!!
