nabeel_al_mazied 0 Posted February 20, 2006 i had took this shot last month i don't remember the scientific name of this insect but in our language it's known as shafafah, with my canon 5D , MP 65mm 2.8 1-5X ,and a ring flash, the apreture was 2.8, shutter speed 200, iso 400. and i've used ahand neon light. thank you for your comments. Guest Guest Posted February 22, 2006 I also like this type of very shallow DOF shot! Insect pictures, to me, are more interesting if they are made to seem alien. The colors are fantastic - and, IMHO, strong enough to stand on their own without the border. A simple black, or perhaps with very thin lines of color - might be preferable... (As to the account mixup, perhaps you can ask your Mr. Nabeel to delete the previous comment? I'm sure you had thought of that, but just a suggestion to clear things up a bit better...)
