Just when I think your images can't amaze me any more you go and post this! This doesn't have the strong IR feel that some of your other compositions have ( it has the look of a well composed and exposed B&W) but it's still a lovely and appealing image and that softly glowing yellow light couldn't be more sublime. This one would work equally well as IR or B&W.

Is there a good place on PN to read about exactly WHAT IR photography IS? I guess that reading that this is an IR image surprised me ... so that must mean that I have an incorrect idea about what exactly it means. Regardless, I love that you've taken advantage of our weather lately. The detail that the snow makes on the branches. You've captured that feeling very well in all of these snowy shots that you've shared with us.

Lou Ann, this image was taken with the IR camera, but since there is no green vegetation it looks just like a B/W photo. I don't know of a place to read up on IR photography, just Google.

Sondra, I really like that winter scene.I like the f/g with the two benches and the lump with the yellow light,all tri ellements are well connecting with the middle and b/g trees. Pnina
