Black Cat White Dog

Found these two photogenic friends staring at me during a walk.

What a great candid moment. It also truly representative of the different animals. The cat always stalking, the dog always playing.

Mark, those two kept staring at me so I had plenty time to take some shots of them. Looks like they were amused with being used as models and gave their best poses for the camera =)

 

Yann, well in fact I may be the guilty one for his devilish look, as I brighten his eyes a bit... but he looked lovely evil.

Is this an allusion to the fact that all cats are black (bad...) and all dogs are white (good)? Cause you know, I love cats (and dogs too, except when they are picking on cats, of course...) and I think they are just pretty little innocent creatures, hiding in wolves's coats... Just kidding, Alex, the moment you captured here is great and your eye doesn't fail you. You always surprise beautiful or funny stuff, that most poeple ignore. Love it, S.

Hi Sabina, not exactly... it is an allusion to the fact that cats' superior intelligence and personality allows them all the time to be in a superior position to dogs (; I've always lived with cats for most of my life and I know what I'm talking about; and I'm sure you too. BTW your cats are beautiful. I still need to make a real photo session with mine to post here, but haven't had the chance now as I'm living 3000km away from them...

This is wonderful! I'm just checking out your portfolio, and how pleasing it is! You have a wonderful eye for the composition and intriguing subjects. Scary to think what you'd do with an SLR :~)

Sabina, yes right now I'm living in Poland. I have three cats back in Portugal and that photo session with them is something I really got to do. I have a photo in my portfolio of the youngest and wildest. The other two spend their lives sleeping so they make easy targets (:

This is another favorite of mine in your portfolio. It's like the dog is posing for the camera, wheras the dark devil up there is waiting to capture the dog's soul... :-)
