Thanks, guys. Yep, background is "real", if you consider green fake backgrounds "real". Here's a distance shot so you can see it. Bear in mind, I was at a different angle with the posted shot.

Wow! We see a lot of close up nature shots, but few are as well done as this one! Great angle...wonderful blend of color...dramtic and bold...and a little scary!

As the title suggests, great colors and textures. The only critique that I have is regarding the halo of lighter green and grain around the head. This may be an artifact of resizing the image for the internet. Besides that, this is a great image.

Yep, I see what you're seeing, Ed. Not as apparent on the larger size and not apparent at all on my print copy. Weird.

Thanks, everyone. I'm surprised at the response to this one. I like it, but didn't think lizard shots would appeal this much.

But this isn't just a lizard shot. He looks almost human. It's like there's a true expression on his face, lending to the idea of emotion. I love the green background. Wonderful work, Kim!
