The moon over Lyme

Is this an unmanipulated image? Either way, it's incredible.

But if it's not two images superimposed, I'm amazed.. Well done.. great detail and composition... love the colors... everything..

Superb shot, the tight perspective makes this look real and extremely attractive. Exposition, tones, and colors are just great. Maybe it would look perfectly real with the moon size a bit reduced, for my feel there is kind of mismatch of tele perspective and size (or was it really 300 mm x 1.5, I have to apologize then...)

Your comment is 'spot on', as ever, Carsten. The street and sky were taken at the same time, on the same spot, but at different focal lengths. I'd recently watched the movie 'Bruce Almighty', and so was probably unconsciously inspired by the scene where, (endowed with divine powers), Bruce 'pulls the moon down a bit' to impress his girlfriend!! :o) Having said that, I still like it as an image and am grateful for your encouraging words.
