While it appears that the blotches are completely random, I can also see how well they have helped the image of reflection, most noticably the faint but hard edge of the grey and the slanted tee-shaped yellow splodge through the thicket of bush. The off centre composition makes the trees look entirely real, and one really has to search to see if this is a true pond reflection of has some PS work involved. Link to comment
