rjsc 0 Posted February 17, 2006 This is one of those "easier said than done" photos. Everything surrounding the dog is very complex in terms of patterns and could be very distracting but even so the subject stands out and says "here I am". Kim is right, is clearly a Howard Dion (wich is a good thing by the way). Congratulations for another great shot. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted February 17, 2006 This IS fun! I love the vertical lines created by the bridge. He looks more like he's waiting for his best friend than his boss. ;-) Good catch, Howard! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted February 17, 2006 He looks so intent on waiting! Very wonderful composition, the lines of the boards lead me right out of the image & make me also look for his master. Nice!!! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 17, 2006 Very nice catch Howard. the texture on the surface and his solid figure, Yes, waiting for the boss... is an accurate title. well done. Pnina Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted February 17, 2006 Composition, tone and sharpness are evedident in this image, which is a hallmark of Howard's image. Link to comment

alexandra rauh 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Howard!Wonderful photograph,I was going to skip one,but can't help saying something. I like here, how the dog himself is not the importance,he is used for the great composition, light, shadow, lines Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted February 17, 2006 Really cute! And all the lines and squares..... Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted February 27, 2006 I think that this works well, because of the contrast of the dog with all of the geometrics. Good eye Howard! Link to comment
cocasana 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Excellent shot! I love dog portraits taken from the back, they can be so expressive, like in this case! Link to comment
warren williams 0 Posted March 16, 2006 Howard, I found the posts here very interesting to read, simply because they affirm that I am not alone in my thinking. Some of your more recent low-light shots are not those classic 'Howard's' as we've grown to really love and enjoy. This one, however, is clearly a 'Howard' and a good one to boot. It's these photographs that will ultimately make you famous (and I kid you not). Super shot. Warren Link to comment
