Guest Guest Posted February 17, 2006 Oh, dear Bianca :) Love your symmetry and trees alley for this lonely Man :)very artistic, unique and poetic! Biliana Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Great composition in very nice colourtones. I admire the way you add textures and effects to your pictures Bianca. You know to create the most wonderful pieces of art. An important detail in this picture I think is the branch in front which combines the two rows of trees in a very delicate way and forms some sort of a gateway the man goes in. A gateway to..... freedom! Congratulations with your really very extra ordinary work, Bianca! Warm greetings, Ada:~) Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted February 17, 2006 I love the effects you've used here, especially the background texture. The result is a powerful image capable of awakening all sort of thoughts to the viewer. You also prove that burned out highlights do not mean all that much, when the quality and message of the image is outstanding like this one (yes this is to the photo.net fundamentalists out there =). biancavanderwerf 0 Posted February 17, 2006 Hihi, thank you so much Alexandre for your kind and original words. I know that often people don't like what I do, because it is not common.. (that is why I didn't put this one up for critique, I am a bit bored with all those 3's and 4's, haha). So your comment feels so warm, thanks! And of course also to Peter, Ada and Biliana!!!! alexguerra 0 Posted February 18, 2006 I understand perfectly why you didn't request critique, but I think your work deserves all the exposure it can get so just think of low ratings as the result produced by thought provoking images. After all the most controversial works often are the best ones in the end right? Keep being different and teasing the narrow minded raters (; Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 18, 2006 very striking and serene. the texture you used really adds to the atmosphere. Link to comment
Gr Marc Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted February 20, 2006 I know that a lot of people are going to go crazy about the white, the blurryness and whatever. But the original for me is boring, so everything is intended.... :-).... The white for me is freedom, the adventure. Constructive comments are always very welcome, thank you! Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted February 21, 2006 Creative manipulation. Very moody & thought provoking :) Link to comment
