aepelbacher 0 Posted February 15, 2006 I loved the idea of these blue fans all lined up in a row, but the green cord (drat!) and the *stuff* in the background added too much clutter. Got rid of the cord rather easily, but wasn't sure what else to do with the image. SOOOoooo ... I selected everything except the blues & silvers in the fans and addded a touch of diffuse glow and boosted the contrast a bit and this is what I got. What do you think? Link to comment

jnicholson 0 Posted February 16, 2006 Lou Ann, nice idea and good saturation ideas. I like it. For the most part, excellent PS work, except maybe for the work on the hotspot behind the front fan. I think it's great, really great, that you included the original here. I think this kind of honesty around the site would help foster much more discussion. Nice job. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted February 17, 2006 Lou Ann, seeing the original, your PS really enhanced the image. It is not an easy take, and it is busy with details, but nicely done despite it. I like the accentuated blue color and the muted brown.Pnina Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted February 17, 2006 You did a good job on the post processing and I see what you were after with the shot. Link to comment

kim_tural 0 Posted February 18, 2006 This is cool PS work. Love the blue and also the way the flowers came out. You did a great job cloning out the green rope too. It's too bad the top left corner was a difficult to work with. Maybe if the grey was a little paler, not sure. Anyway, I like it! Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted March 7, 2006 Lou Ann, you did a great job with this photo! I already loved its desaturated, almost b&w look before I even read what you did or saw the original one. Link to comment
