davidmccracken 2 Posted February 15, 2006 Actually the photos weren't that old. The polaroids were taken on 14th January this 2006. Feedback appreciated. Should there be anyone looking for my more daring work, you can always do a search for me on photopoints or photosig where I have uploaded some new images along with some of my deleted images. I am sure to be uploading more soon. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted February 15, 2006 I like the concept and the composition of this a great deal. The only problem I have with it is the width of the white border on the top image, I think it is a bit of a distraction. I will be interested to see if you have starterd something with this image. -Cheers Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 15, 2006 Owen, I guess the white border is a bit imposing. I actually like it for the drama it creates but I do get your point. This is pretty much a one off image. I posted it here looking for feedback. However, no one seems too interested in it.... except you. Thanks as always. Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted February 16, 2006 It caught my eye - interesting approach. I think instead the white border is too white - maybe bring it down a little. Interesting. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 16, 2006 It is a bit in your face isn't it? Thanks for the input. I do still like it... but let me see what I can do. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted February 19, 2006 Enough has been said about the white border. Very interesting image(s). Great shot and very well composed. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 19, 2006 Marco, Thanks for the comment. I am not sure about this one. I think it is different but I am not sure if it is something I would do again. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 20, 2006 I agree with Owen about liking the concept. I have no problem with the white border...Polaroid prints do have bright white borders...but I'm wondering what happened to the border on the lower print? I'd say if you're going to crop the border on one, crop both. But you've given me an idea, so if you see something like this crop up (no pun intended) in my portfolio, don't be mad at me. I do like this, though. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 20, 2006 Jim, Thanks for the comment. I have to say I don't really understand it. I don't see how I could crop the white border of the print lying on top of the other picture. Maybe I am misssing something. As for giving you an idea. I can't wait to see your results.
