places. Not this one. I didn't go in.

This is one of my stepfathers favorite pubs, you would have liked it if you had gone in, however, did you know that the landlord has been fined for excluding a Guide Dog? - strange but true, and odd as he is know as a good chap - Noone knows if it was political correctness gone mad, or unfair discrimination?

There is great depth of field with your inclusion of the period lampost......taken from the walls I asume?

Your photograph captures Victorian Chester well, and without the "Ahead Only" sign, and in sepia it would have a timeless appeal, although I do love the colourful sign and blackboard.
