lgoodwin 0 Posted February 13, 2006 Jake: What a stunning photo! The only drawback for me was the large dark area in the upper right. It makes the photo unbalanced. I wonder if it is possible to produce an image with a little more definition there. Or have you tried a vertical crop focusing on the left side, where all the interesting parts of the image are? mitras 0 Posted February 13, 2006 The light on the pebbles are caught nicely. The upper right corner is a little too dark. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
yodo 0 Posted February 13, 2006 I appreciate the dark right upper corner as contrary of the bright left bottom corner... And the sun rays... and the water... Great picture! Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted February 15, 2006 An excellent composition, the triangles of the sea and beach forming a neat 'Z'. The light on the stones is lovely, as is the light on the water. If we want to pick nits, I'd like to see a bit more detail in the dark upper right-hand corner, rather than having it fall completely dark. Also, the image could use a bit more order at the bottom of the frame, center and right. For instance, it would be good to see complete stones, instead of cut-off ones. But these are minor quibbles in what is overall a very beautiful photo. Link to comment
ramthakur 0 Posted July 6, 2006 I have just gone through your sea scapes, Jake, and I like them very much. This one is the best in terms of composition, colours and depth of view. Link to comment
