Guest Guest Posted February 12, 2006 I really like the composition here, but I can't help but think that the dodge and burn on her hands is a little overdone, there appears to be a dark halo around here fingers that just doesn't look right. Link to comment
aeaster 0 Posted February 13, 2006 I usually don't give "I would have done it different" comments because it is all subjective BS anyway. But I think, (as a vaiation) I would have also made this shot from about four more feet away, just to make sure I was getting her whole body in the frame. It is a very good shot the way it is. frank_p 0 Posted February 13, 2006 Thanks Jayme, Ben & Andre for your nice and useful feedback. Ben, I have given much thought about how to show her hands indeed. I wanted to draw attention to them - they express for me some of the feelings Hanna was coping with. But I do agree that it may look somehow overdone. Andre, the picture has been cropped. I agree that if Hanna had looked smaller,it would have improved the dramatic effect. But since she was sitting in front of a low plasterd wall inside our house, this was no option. Link to comment
charodiez 0 Posted May 22, 2006 I also think that giving Hanna some more space around her would enhance the mood of this picture. To me it doesnt matter if its not a large empty area, even if we see some other objects, that dont distract too much, it would be good. By the way, very good posing, and those hands are speaking tons! Interesting... Link to comment
pepa_de_rivera1 0 Posted August 14, 2006 Me gusta todo de la foto, principalmente el sentimiento que transmites, pero desde el encuadre con todo su espacio hasta las tonalidades. Enhorabuena. Link to comment
