Very pretty. Composed well, as the flowers in the plane of focus sort of travel in a zig-zag down the frame. Good dof and resulting bokeh. Pleasing warm color balance.

This is a lovely photograph that somehow got by me in earlier visits to your gallery. I had never heard of the Madrone tree, and thought at first that this might be a relative of fuchsia. Instead I discovered that it is a type of arbutus and a relative of heather. I'm delighted to make its acquaintance through your photo. After enjoying the complex cascade of color, I was struck how the composite bloom is shaped much like each floret. Your composition encourages appreciation of its draping grace. The background is also lovely, and could be used as a classic example of beautiful boke.

The lovely Madrone flower calls beautiful teardrops to mind, with an almost melancholy sweetness. A splendid photo.
