Guest Guest Posted February 10, 2006 Nice composition. You are overdoing the skin. It will only look good for a while in your eyes, a year passes and you wonder why on earth you made it so plastic. You might like to try the ClearSkinFX by MediaChance. It's a free tool and works quite nicely. There are some other nice free tools on the same page.Alternatively you can also try Bastard Amber -gel simulation with Photoshop:1) Add a constant color layer with R251, G180, B1582) Change to blending mode colorshadow or soft light3) Fill rate to 20... 25%4) Join layers (or add levels adjustment layer ->see 5)5) Add levels gamma from 1 to 1.1The BA simu gives a nice tone and reduces contrast in a color range close to skin color. Thus, it hides blemish etc. You may need to do some smoothing beforehand though, but, IMO you should always leave some texture and nap left to the skin. Link to comment
talvitie 0 Posted February 10, 2006 Hello Photoshop/Photopaint/Paint Shop Pro/something else. OK, the picture is very good. The lights and shadows are great and the girl's pose is good. A very good portrait picture, but in my opinion there's a bit too much of picture manipulation. I can see it all over her face. Maybe I see it easily because I know these things, but for me the skin is a bit too much plastic-alike. Annars är denna foto väldigt bra Tore. Enligt min åsikt, borde du först sänka lite toningen av bildmanipulering. Sedan är den bättre! Hälsningar, Herman Link to comment
