Karl Schuler 48 Posted February 9, 2006 Mystical? monumental? alienating? or simply aesthetical? Very creative. Karl Link to comment
butow 0 Posted February 9, 2006 That's great. I like those structures ... if you could't see the ocean, it would be as if they're walking in some "nowhere". Link to comment
kleintje 0 Posted February 10, 2006 The photo in itself was already a great capture of a mysterious event. The treatment you gave it only adds to the mystery of the whole, taking away any relevance to the time/era it was taken. Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted February 10, 2006 great mystry & drama in this shot. subdued color comes out very dramatically & adds a touch of sainity 2 the structures. fantastic overall mood! Link to comment

Ada:~) Wonderful Bianca, this combination of mystery and through the time and chemicals affected image. Of course I saw the first version of this picture already and that is a great one, but through the special effects you add this creation is even more mysterious. I'm really very curious to know how you create these effects. Can't you give me a hint? Warm greetings Bianca and I repeat that this is a great peace of Art! PS, I like to give you 7/7 Bianca, but alas I'm not allowed to give it to you:-(( Link to comment

lirudna 0 Posted October 23, 2006 This image has a wonderful feel. The old photo look is a plus. Very mysterious. Compositionally, might move figures to the left, just a little. Great photograph. Link to comment

michael_jazayeri1 0 Posted October 23, 2006 Bizarre, mysterious, and beautiful at the sam time! Reminds me of those 1920's weird German silent movies! Link to comment
shakti v. 0 Posted October 23, 2006 What was your intent in this photograph? Did you wish to make it look like it was from the distant past or a pilgrimage in the present? My first impression was this was intended to look like a pilgrimage from the past. However, the shoes and the jeans showing at the bottom of the blanket, contradict this. It would have been better if the subjects were wearing non-modern footwear, like leather sandals of the Greek style, and if the jeans were not jeans but pants of a different fabric- - close to the texture of canvas or wool. Details are very important in photography. All art is about storytelling; the details are the words of an image. Also, was this manually done or was the raw image a digital file? Link to comment
