Guest Guest Posted February 13, 2006 I prefer this one too. Tones are warmer than on the other one, especially skin tones. Nice texture effect, quite nice. Lovely curves. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 17, 2006 Love the textured finish... Makes the routine a little different.... chris Link to comment
aeaster 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Rina, why oh why do you keep ruining beautiful and well-composed shots with these ugly Photoshop gimmicks? They add nothing to the aesthetics of the image, they only distract from the natural grace and beauty that was already there. The original photographs are fine as they are. Link to comment
rina 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Thanks to all of you. Andre, Infact I did it ( BTW it is a selfmade texture ) because there is one item at the right upper side on the bed I did not want in the frame and I was not able to make it disappear. In the meantime I know how to use the healing tool ;-) More to come without texture. Nevertheless I like textures - here I agree it is rather "heavy". Link to comment
aeaster 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Rina, I apoligize if I seemed to come across with a heavy hand. I think that your nudes are both beautiful and sublime. It is just my opinion that texturing or other digital tricks to "enhance" an otherwise great photograph is the equivilent of a surgeon using silicone breast implants to "enhance" an otherwise beautiful young womam. The result is mutilation. I understand that many people like these (so called) improvements, but to me they only obscure the underlying natural loveliness. I hope that you are not offended by my critique as I have a huge respect for you as an artist. Link to comment
rina 0 Posted March 17, 2006 Andre, You do not have to apologize! I am here to hear - better read - other opinions. And you are not the only one who disapproves. Honest qritiques and comments are more than welcome. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 11, 2006 for me this is a picture i saw in a magazine and found so beautiful i tore it out and kept it in my back pocket to look at whenever i felt like it. I know the texture may not be popular but it defines the work. The composition is perfect for me. A lovely piece. Link to comment
careynash 0 Posted August 31, 2006 This texture, what you've done with it compliments such a wondeful, and sensual image. Link to comment
axel_bueckert 0 Posted July 6, 2007 the texture is to prominent here for my taste. while it?s fine on the wall, i would have reduced its opacity on the body. i like the pose very much though ;-) Link to comment
rina 0 Posted July 6, 2007 Thanks, Axel, yes you are right regarding texture on her body. Link to comment
ctc 0 Posted May 29, 2008 all: the model's body, her pose, the post-precessing work... Great result! Congratulation, Chris Link to comment
