SEEMS AS IF EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN AGENDA IN THIS PICTURE, OTHER THAN TRYING TO GET THIS PHOTO TAKEN. IT CAN BE HARD TAKING A GROUP PICTURE OF THIS SIZE AND KEEP EVERYBODY FOCUS. DO LIKE THE SATURATION OF THE COLORS AND SHADING IN THIS PHOTO.

The light ia very harsh, but the photo is interesting. Especially wondering about the clash between the people, their clothes and all that plastic: such a strident contrast.

Thanks Craig and Paula.

Paula, as I have written before because of the heat we were traveling in early morning, and photographed when we could, some of them in the middle of the day( this one included). Pnina

It's hard to take photos in Africa since the sunlight gets too hard very fast. I think you managed very well here to get the details of the group sitting under the trees with their produce to sell without having the brighter parts being completely washed out.

And, sorry for the men around, but also typical here, women at work and the man in the back taking a nap... ;o)

Interestingly, I never would have thought about separate "agendas" before reading Craig's comment. It wouldn't occur to me that people with a simple life would have "agendas" ... but it might make sense. That'll be one that I'll need to think about some.

Photographically, I wish the colors in this were a tiny bit more saturated. That's just my taste, because the clothes are so bright. I like that some of the eyes are looking at you and some aren't. I also am intrigued by the *dairy* out in the heat ... and being kept in bottles that are apparently re-used. This is so difficult to process, Pnina - thank you for bringing it to us.

Wonderful shot, Pnina. A shot of contrasts, and reality. And then, right in the middle at the top, a motorcycle. Lots of things to think about. Warmest Regards, Barry.

Thanks Lou Ann and Barry.

Lou Ann,Thats how they live , it was taken on the road, in the middle of the day, it is one of the villages." agenda"? I think Craig ment that each of them is doing somthing in the photo.

Barry, Yes there are more motorcycle than cars...it is seen in the cities and villages that are probabaly in a better financial situation.

Thanks to both of you. Pnina
