lupine 0 Posted February 9, 2006 Comments, critiques, suggestions, observations, polite remarks, not so polite remarks, tax tips, recipes, directions to the supermarket, secret hair stylinig tips of the Hollywood stars, jokes are all welcome. Anything, really, just someting, a word or two maybe three, we don't ask for much, just to know that after a thousand views, somebody somewhere must have some sort of opinion about something, you don't even have to comment on the photo, tell me your views of how the hell we're going to get out of this mess we've created in the world, no one is getting along, for god's sake people, we're all just human beings, no different than one another, we're all brothers and sisters, let's come to our senses and, uh, oh, sorry, I got carried away, really, please accept my apology, I'm tired, I really should go to bed, if you want, just leave a quick note or just rate it a 3 or less. Sorry to have bothered you. :-) Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 9, 2006 I do like this. I would have cropped it so the diagonal went from corner to corner. More DoF would have helped but I realise that may not have been possible. A good catch! Link to comment
lupine 0 Posted February 9, 2006 Thanks, David: You're right about the DOP issue. This was taken with an early digital camera and it was a grab shot! If I had my present camera and my tripod as I do now, I would have set up more to control exposure, aperature, etc. I don't mind the going out of focus though as it implies distance. As you suggested, I should try a crop from corner to corner! Thanks for the input. Link to comment
kentb2 0 Posted February 12, 2006 Paul, not to sure how we're going to get out of this mess but I must say looking at your pictures makes me not care so much. I like the subject matter you choose and the way you capture it. Take care. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted February 28, 2007 Paul, I hope people will get along one day and that the world will be a better place. About photos, you must have inspired me too. I realise I posted a picture a little like yours a few weeks ago. It's funny how our minds work. I sincerely don't remember seeing this picture when you posted it a year ago but I must have, obviously. I like your angle much more. Link to comment
lupine 0 Posted February 28, 2007 It's funny how we all see the same thing in so many different ways. I love your shot as well, Laurent. You have much more colorful shopping carts then we do :-) I love repeat patterns so this was a natural for me. Link to comment
