graduation day! I took this the minute we spotted each other in the crowd!

This is my son..just a few seconds after he graduated from basic

training for the USMC..He was searching for me in the crowd and I

snapped the picture the second he saw me. It was a loooooong three

months.

Tell him to quite... Im from berlin Im 31 yrs old I know well from the history what It means to be a part of anny army. I know them when they come home or not - allways brocken.

The military here is different than it is in Berlin. ( My mother is German and lives in Neibull! :-) ) The government owns you for four years. He has no option of quitting. BUT even if he was able..He would stay because he loves it and feels he is doing what is right for his country EVEN if he doesn't always agree with the decisions made. Luckily he is going to Japan and NOT Iraq. Lucky for ME anyway! :-)
