Beautiful, you must have gotten this early in the morning. I tried for this shot a couple of years ago but they told me I was there to late, to get this shot you have to be there as the sun comes up....I envey you that shot. I have some great ones but this is the shot I was after....Peace, Annie 7/7

Thanks for the comments. Annie I took this at about 10 o'clock which is considered late for most landscapes.To get this shot you must wait for the sun to get pretty high in the sky and pray for no wind.

Your prayers were answered ;-) The mirror reflection makes the shot, stunning quality of colors and tones, great detail. Really interesting to observe how the foreground gets covered with the reflected mountainscape. Great shot !

Lovely landscape and contrast between primary colors. Lots of interesting triangular shapes, great reflection, and I love underwater rocks as foreground detail. As I'm viewing it, the image looks like it could be rotated slightly CCW -- but perhaps this effect is due to the shape of the shoreline.
