Darveish, Ghulam Sarwer [ servent of the Prophet ] serves @ the

shrine of a sufi saint inside Rahotas fort, Jehlum. this shot was

taken just before sunset when warm evening light dimly lit the

interior of the sufi shrine. ratings & comments r welcome.

Very well done. If possible I would crop a little to the left & give the face some head room on the left. Excellent exposure & lighting.

Umair, The personalty of this man is very strong and well captured. I am fascinated by his look.

Retouching as suggested would be a distraction from his expression.

I like the original as it is. Cropping on the left doesn't make sense, imo. You always want more room in the direction the person is looking, I believe. Anyway, I like the color and tones of the original posting and find the alteration posted is a little too stark for my liking. Nice portrait, Umair!

ah, you are truly skilled with your camera and with people -- such a pose, it takes real connection to evoke this. i agree some sharpening helps, though i think less than the revision posted -- but be careful always about blowing out highlights like the beard, which are very well done in your posting but a little hot in the revision i think.
