The larger version is magnificent.

As usual, getting there, braving the cold, carrying the gear up, planning the shot, stitching it and so on is an effort I'm aware of, and I admire a lot any single panorama you shot. They are all an ispiration to me, but recently none of my tours offered a good chance at them: I should stop chosing peaks which offer great views to the S at midday with the sun in the frame!

I'd offer some nitpiking, again, since I know you expect them from me...

I like the choice of sky/mountain amount, but I am not sure about the other arrangements of peak around the frame. What I mean is that -of course- the ridge is what it is, but I find that I like the pyramid to the left, and get a bit bored by the long rather featureless part, before I get a peak of activity (pun intended) to the right... I would have liked the most prominent features to be slightly more toward the centre of the image... did you have a 7th shot to attach to the right?

You've hit on my own objection with this picture. In some ways I prefer the shots I took of the ends of the summit ridge rather than this pano, but like you said, it is what it is. Some years ago when I climbed and skied this peak I descended the steep snow off the central lump (the summit) then down and right, so I like seeing this boring area for my own memories. I have to admit that no hard climbing work was done to get this - it was taken with my telephoto lens on a driving tour with my Wife yesterday looking for eagles (we saw 5, and a heron).
