Amazing expression you got on him! Was this taken in the wild or in a zoo? In terms of composition I would have preferred to see a tighter crop around his head, especially eliminating those leaves on the upper left corner. I belive that it would highlight better the great details on the tiger's face. Cheers! Alex

My thanks to everyone for the kind comments. This was taken in the zoo in Tacoma. I would have liked a closer crop around the head, but the shot was taken at a substantial distance and I'd already cropped as much as I was comfortable with.

You have something good you can play around with if you care to. You could darken the edges, do some cloning, etc., to minimize the background. Still a valid shot, as is.

I would have less saturation. It lost some of the natural "feel" being that vibrant and current lighting. Overall good catch! :-)
