Thank you for your visit and comment. Black Mountain is often violet in daylight. The road is rough and only for 4x4 jeeps. It is possible to drive to one of the deserted inlets, Breidavik. Hiking is a popular travel method around. This area is very beautiful and worth visiting. Greetings, Baldur

Very nice composition with the interesting foreground and subject framed by two smaller rock formations. . . . and three leading lines, no less.

Interesting analog between sky and land. the 2 lines in the sky as contrast to the two paths on the mountains. The small clouds similar to parts of the earth ....well done Baldur. Pnina

Pnina, thanks for your visit and thoughts. This is not the usual view of this mountain. I try to capture the nature and buildings from different angle of view compared to what others are doing. Sometimes it works! Regards, Baldur

Beautiful landscape. The lava stones in the foreground add interest. Fine compositional lines. The clouds mirror some of the leading lines on the ground in an excellent way. Great work. Best regards, Michael

What a wonderful sky ... and the lines in the landscape complement it well. I like how all of those lines go toward the prominent rock in the middle. Wonderfully composed!
