Normandy bridge in the rain

I like the interplay of horizontals and verticals. Amazing how the weather weaves atmosphere. Was there any way to shoot from further left - so to get the bridge closer to the RH side of frame, and fitting in more of the countryside to left of bridge? I'd like to see the bridge less centred.

I had to stop on the motorway to take this picture and the lampposts were limiting my view.
