carsten_ranke 0 Posted February 3, 2006 Very good nightshot, just the right time for a nice sky. Well composed and exposed. Perhaps a person as scaling factor wouldnt hurt, not a major issue. Like it very much. Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted February 4, 2006 Really nice night shot. The row of lights makes a good job on leading the eyes along the pleasant street. I would have preferred to see a bit more of the road on the foreground though. Cheers! Link to comment
cjrupp 0 Posted February 4, 2006 Very nice Henri, I agree that the lights make this work. Link to comment
cyrus khamak 0 Posted February 6, 2006 beautifully exposed night shot.I love the contrasting purplish blue against the yellow stretch of lights. I know we are sometimes limited by the how much we can step back and/or by the lens at hand. I would have rathered see some of the road as well. this would have also worked as some sort f a scaling factor as well. Reards. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted February 25, 2006 Really wonderful evening scene Henri. You've cathed it very well; bright and well composted. I love the goldentones in it and the row of lights that leads the eye to the view where the buildings which are situated more in the background lightens up. I agree with Cyrus that it would have been nice if there was some more space in the foreground but I also realize that probable in this case it must have been a choice between one or the other. My solution in such a case as this is: restrict the space at the top of the towers to a minimum to create more space at the bottom and add the needed part of the sky with the help of PS. But however it is a beautiful shot Henri which shows us the rich and monumental look of wonderful Paris. Many greetings, Ada:~) Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted March 3, 2006 Thank you Ada. I agree with you and Cyrus about the not enough road in the bottom, and it is the same problem I said for the Notre-Dame shot. The image in the viewfinder was not the same that the one taken by the camera, and in the darkness I had difficulties to see well the result on the LCD screen of the camera.Best regards Link to comment
