someoneelse 1 Posted February 2, 2006 so what do you think.......... roots into a fort......... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 3, 2006 This is an intriguing shot from you Els. Always exploring. As an isolated image I'm ambivalent. Part of a series? It's got something...but I'm going to have to go away and have a think about this one. Cheers C. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted February 3, 2006 Thanks craig hoehne, no this will not be a serie, but exploring is always nice. And I am curious what other people think of this 'style'. This picture I have made on new years day, walking through a spooky kind of park, with beautifull trees, and there were deers, and more, and somehow I wanted to put it on PN It is a picture on itself, thanks for your comment. afterthoughts 0 Posted February 3, 2006 Interesting. It reminds me of the barred entrance to the land of the underground people. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 3, 2006 Oh yes Els, the picture is great. I can envision it as a nice large print hanging in a fine-art gallery. It has a certain mystery about it and yet it is provocative. The hard direct lighting is confronting in a similar way to some of the old style news images. Almost like a crime scene scenario. A creepy feel somehow. It's a gloomy image for you. My initial hesitance to commit is probably more due to the fact that I'm familiar with your folio here and there is a discontinuity of style and approach from your other, generally upbeat material. All the best C. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted February 5, 2006 A little different, but I like it. Makes you stop and think. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted February 5, 2006 I like it, but that is probably because this is something that I could never walk by and not take a photo of. --Lannie Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted February 5, 2006 But you have to find the places Lannie. Thank you all for your comments, I can do something with it. Els Link to comment
alexguerra 0 Posted February 5, 2006 I could stay a long time looking at this photo imagining what kind of creatures live there, which others they may take inside... The use of the soft focus with b&w is original for me and I think that it works really well. Cheers! Alex Link to comment
amélie 0 Posted February 6, 2006 I love the softness as it gives a special mood...and makes my imagination go all over..which your photos do! hugs and kisses! :) Link to comment
pimderuijter 0 Posted February 7, 2006 Hoi Els! Groeten! kleintje 0 Posted February 8, 2006 It's somehow different from the other photos in your portfolio, but it also somehow just fits in... Wonderful mystical atmosphere, ready to let a story to come to life... Instead of a fort, this made me think of those old cooling 'caves' people used to make (especially the ones living in castles and the likes thereof). These days ideal resting and breeding places for bats. (that story is in here somewhere... ;) Link to comment
In Leeuwarden? Mevrouw Van D. Wacht Op Antwoord! ^_* Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted February 10, 2006 Ik ben zeer tevreden! Welterusten lieve Els..... Ada:~) Link to comment
